Who we are
Certificate Manager is a product of Jawasoft. Jawasoft is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
Visiting this website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical connection information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use this only to run and secure the website.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. It works from a small script served by Cloudflare that reports page views and loading times. We use these statistics because we have a legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not have forms or user accounts. Apart from the Cloudflare analytics script, it loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images.
The installer download link takes you to a separate server, service.fdmanager.aero. As with any download, that server receives your IP address and standard request details.
Emailing us
If you email [email protected], we receive your name, email address, the content of your message and anything you attach. Our email is handled by Microsoft 365.
We use this information to answer your question, arrange a demonstration or prepare a quote, and to keep a record of our business correspondence. We do so because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, where you ask for a quote or licence, to take steps towards a contract with you. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list, and we do not sell your information.
Please do not send certificates, personal records or confidential client information in an enquiry email.
Your certificate library
Certificate Manager runs on your organisation’s own infrastructure, and your certificate library stays there. Visiting this website or emailing us does not give us access to it.
Service providers and international transfers
We use Cloudflare to host this website and measure its use, and Microsoft to handle our email. They process personal information on our behalf under their data protection terms. Some of this processing may take place outside the UK and the European Economic Area, under the safeguards for international transfers that those terms provide.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry emails and related correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it. You can also object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes, for example if we add an enquiry form or advertising tools. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
